We source grapes for our wines from a variety of vineyards, either owned by our team or contracted to us. These vineyards have been identified for their capability to produce the quality and quantity of varieties needed for the Night Harvest range.
Gibindee Vineyard, Carbunup
This vineyard, situated on the Bussell Highway around 30km north of the Margaret River townsite was selected for the planting of Alicante Bouschet. The micro-climate of this site, with its slightly cooler winters and warmer summers brings out the best for this Mediterranean red variety. An organic mulching program is also resulting in some astounding results with Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot.
Ridge Farm, Wilyabrup
Located in the ‘dress circle’ in the centre of the Margaret River region, WIlyabrup has particular track record in high quality Cabernets, Shiraz , Semillon and Chardonnays. Our block is on a gentle north facing slope, protected by native forests on the southern side and close to the cooling sea breeze coming in from the southwest.
Rockfield, Karridale
Karridale is the southernmost end of the Margaret River appellation. Although only 30km from the centre of the region, the influence of the ‘southerly buster’ coming in from the southern ocean extends the ripening period for grapes, often resulting in harvest 2 – 4 weeks later than the rest of the region. The longer slower ripening times allow greater natural acidity in the grapes and are ideal for aromatic white varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
Brushwood Brook, Yallingup
Situated on an elevated ridge overlooking Geographe Bay, the vineyard has unique soils that are producing stunning Cabernet Sauvignon that is highly sought after. The vineyard is operated as a “dryland” block with Houghton Clone fruit that has smaller more intense flavours.
